Had the best chowder I have had........maybe ever! We were served by the nicest server with a great disposition and a sunny, uplifting smile. Was less impressed with my lobster roll....maybe cause I followed the chowder, which was so tasty, it maybe left the lobstwr roll playing second fiddle. All in all a fine experience!

I took my hubby to Carr’s Oyster Bar to celebrate his 60th birthday. It was a beautiful day (June 11, 2025) so we sat outside on the patio. Right from the start our server was excellent! She suggested different types of on tap beer and brought little samples so we could make a decision. There were several different kinds of oysters. Each one was big and hubby said they were absolutely delicious. We both ordered the fish & chips. It was super hot when it arrived at the table. The fish coating was nice and crunchy. French fries were cooked just right. It was an all around great lunch.

Family of 5. And our dog. Red. Had a early supper here today. Stacey our waitress was amazing. And friendly. Fast service. Good food Highly recommended this place. P.S. our grandchildren did jump off Stanley bridge. Thank you we will be back

My wife and I were surprised that the establishment was open and stopped in out of curiosity. Had a drink at the bar with a delightful server. A very clean and well maintained place. We will be back. We came back in the busy season and had a delightful mid-afternoon snack on the deck. Dog friendly and the servers are fantastic

This review is from July 2024. I had the lobster roll, which was so full of lobster and delicious! The potato salad was very tasty too! We sat outside by the water and enjoyed live entertainment there too. The server was very good and she was pretty funny too! I take tour people here and it has great reviews from them too.

Excellent food in a laid back setting. I usually avoid fish and chips, but Carr's has changed my mind about them. Very lightly battered and not greasy, they were delicious. My picky toddler also liked it. The seafood chowder is a must! I wanted to eat everything on the menu.

The food at Carr's was delicious! My husband ordered oysters and the coconut shrimp and I had the lobster roll. The staff were very friendly and spent a few minutes telling us about the oysters on the island. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the Stanley Bridge area!
